Where is Hospice?
Hospice care is usually provided at home, wherever the patient resides.
Hospice care is provided in the patient’s home, wherever they call home. VNA Health can also provide hospice care in a nursing home, an assisted living community, or a residential care facility, wherever the patient calls home. We also work closely with our hospitals to manage easy transitions from hospital to home at any time.
When hospice care at home becomes too difficult or stressful, VNA Health can also offer a “home away from home” at – Serenity House – our inpatient hospice facility where patients receive around-the-clock, expert medical care. Serenity House offers general inpatient care when patients need more medically intense level of care. When a patient’s primary caregiver needs temporary relief, Serenity House also offers inpatient respite care.
The only one of its kind in the Tri-County, Serenity House offers individual rooms in a home-like setting, with plenty of space for your family to be with you. Each room has a spacious bathroom and private patio, surrounded by gardens, fountains, and panoramic views. Family and friends may use our covered parking garage and enjoy 24/7 visiting hours.
